1. The father and mother who are married to each other are registered as a child’s parents at the register of birth on the application of either parent.
2. If parents are not married to each other, the record about the child’s mother is entered on the mother’s application, and the record about the child’s father is entered on joint application of the father and mother of the child or on the child’s father application (item 4 of clause 48 of this Code), or the father’s details are entered according to the Court Decision.
3. If the mother who gave the birth is not married, and there is no joint application of the parents or there is no a Court Decision that affiliates, at the register of birth the mother’s name is put as the last name of the child’s father, the first name and the patronymic of the child’s father is put by the mother’s instructions.
4. Individuals, who are married and who gave their written agreement to use the method of artificial insemination or to embryo implantation, and if their child is born via these methods, are registered as the child’s parents at the register of birth.
   Individuals, who are married to each other and who gave their written agreement to implant the embryo in other woman in purpose she carries it, can be registered as this child’s parents only if the woman who gave the birth to the child (the surrogate mother) gives her agreement.
