Medical Screening for Recipients
Egg donation program is expensive enough. That is why it is necessary to be sure that this program is that what you need and it can be effective in your case. Therefore being the patients you have to undergo certain medical tests and observations. The list of them named below is international standard. Medical records for approximately the same tests and observations are required in any clinic of the USA.





Examinations

Period of validity

For women

Necessary

- Medical conclusion that indicates you need to use egg donor;

No limit

- General and special gynecological observation;

 

- A pelvic ultrasound of the organs and structures in the lower belly;

The record about the last one

- Determination of blood type and Rh factor;

No limit

- Clinical analysis of blood and blood coagulation test;

1 month

- Blood test on syphilis, HIV, hepatitis B and C;

3 months

- Detection of flora in urethra and cervical canal and of degree of vagina purity;

3 months

- Complete physical examination, to assure that woman’s health would not be significantly jeopardized by pregnancy.

Undergo once

- Bacteria analysis of the urethra and cervical canal;

3 months

- Cytological investigation of smears from neck of womb;

3 months

- Infection examination: chlamydiosis, ureaplasmosis, mycoplasmosis, herpes, toxoplasmosis, cytomegaly;

6 months

- Rubella titre.   The record about the last analysis results
May be required additionally

- Uterus and uterine tubes evaluation (Hystero-Salpingo-Gram, Hystero-Salpingo-Scopia, laparoscopy)

- Endometrial biopsy;

- Blood test on FSH, LG, E2, prolactin, testosteron, cortisone, progesterone, T3, T4, TSH, somatotropin;

1 year

For men

Necessary

- Blood test on syphilis, HIV, hepatitis B and C;

3 months

- Spermogram;

The record about the last one

- Determination of blood type and Rh factor;

No limit

- Infection examination: chlamydiosis, ureaplasmosis, mycoplasmosis, herpes, cytomegaly.

6 months

For men who are older then 35 medico-genetic consultation is required
